18th Century
In the 18th century, the citizens of Kozelník built a simple Baroque bell tower on a high point between the houses. It was a standalone tower-like structure with a square floor plan, housing a bell on a wooden frame. It primarily served a notification and signalling function.

In 1963, the bell tower was listed as a national cultural monument in the Central Register of the Monuments Fund.

In 2025, the bell tower was partially restored.

In 2026, the access road and surroundings of the bell tower were also renovated.

Present Day
Today, the bell tower still serves its function in the life of the village. Every day, it announces noon and evening by ringing its bells. The bells are also rung upon the death of a resident, or in remembrance of their passing, as a mark of respect for the deceased and in memory of those who have passed away.
